ACC Midi devices

Postby goodweather » Tue Mar 20, 2018 8:59 pm

Hi,
when connecting the ACC to my PC I see 2 inputs and 2 outputs:
- inputs: Accelerator / MIDIIN2 (Accelerator)
- outputs: Accelerator / MIDIOUT2 (Accelerator)

What are the differences between Accelerator and MIDI IN/OUT 2 ?
When to use the one and when to use the other?

Thx!

The Accelerator can be used as an external USB MIDI Interface for other MIDI instruments when used via USB. MIDI port 1 is the Acceleator internal synth MIDI port and MIDI port 2 is for external MIDI instruments.

OK. Thanks this is indeed not stated in the manual. My Novation SL25 MkII has the same. Also 2 ports but indeed 2 Midi OUT.
So, for the ACC, if I understand well, I can connect a synth to Acc MidiOut and USB info can be sent for example from my PC to the other synth? Correct?
Same, with MidiIn if I want to have bidirectional USB?

Sorry for the questions as this is not fully clear to me.
Is it some setup to do?
