USB connect / disconnect in firmware

Postby Gonzini » Sun Mar 10, 2013 11:51 am

Would be very useful to be able to disconnect / connect USB from within the firmware than having to physically pull the plug in and out.
I do use a card reader with mine to transfer samples over on SM cards or the other small ones :? with an adapter.
More for patterns and stuff.
Maybe also a way to copy data from internal to card and vice versa, though doing as is over USB would be visually easier having it on a big LCD screen...
Would be nice to be able to do this stand alone though.

Yeah, I've actually even had problems plugging the spectralis into the USB. It freezes the unit occasionally.

Yeah, this would be a nice small feature. I know my Virus TI, when plugged in to USB, doesn't accept the MIDI connection, and there's no way to 'shut off' the USB connection. It's actually quite annoying because I'd still like to be able to send MIDI data from USB and from MIDI (Something that the Korg Radias could do).

It must just be how they do things over in Germany...
