Is this a multi-sample FROM the Accelerator... FOR the spectralis? :D

EDIT: Oh, nevermind... I see now that your response is a response to someone asking the same thing.

For the first sampling library, I already created a lot of Spectralis multisamples with the Spectralis Hybrid Engine. The Accelerator oscillators are a little bit more open ended and the Accelerator parametric EQs allows for the creation of very nice sounding basic material. The Spectralis digital filters are sounding very good on that material.

This 1 meter Gong is awesome. If one hits that gong really hard, the release time is probably longer than the sampling time of the Spectralis;-) So after creating three of these gong samples,my library was finished;-)

OK - just kidding. I am still creating samples for that library. I am working on that library already quite long. I am sure, the library will create new ground for the already matured Spectralis - especially if Andreas would also finish that longer than anything else awaited Spectralis update.

Excellent! Have you designed any orchestral samples for the Spectralis or Accelerator? :D

Fent wrote:Excellent! Jorg, do you have any of the gong samples uploaded to SoundCloud? I remember a few months ago when you uploaded some drum samples for the Spectralis and those were amazing. I expect nothing less from your gong samples of course. Have you designed any orchestral samples for the Spectralis or Accelerator? :D

Wait wait... Where are these drum samples?

I think it was all an amazing dream. I read a thread on this forum somewhere that Jorg was working on a sample set and I think I dreamed about how amazing the samples were. I don't think I actually heard them. :D

I created multiple version from most samples. Some with and some without reverbration. Some samples have multiple velocity samples...

Getting back to the original topic of this thread, if we were able to install OS 1.60 without difficulty, do you still recommend that we upgrade to 1.61 or is that unnecessary?

If version 1.60 runs fine, there is no reason to do an update to version 1.61. The silent issue is a problem of only a few units. Little timing differencies during startup can cause problems. The DSP does not get initialised correctly on these machines. Version 1.61 starts up a little bit slower and wake up all DSPs we had the chance to measure so far.
