Yes! Or a xF card to smart media adapter and a xD card with 128 MB. Should sum up a little bit cheaper nowadays then a smart media card.

Is there any way to restore do the factory sounds in smaller increments, all I have is a 32mb smart media card.

Thanks

The only way to do that would end in individual downloads of the sample sets and all the rest (songs, patterns etc) as a binary. You would need to download all single files. Before transfering all the sample sets via USB to the speckie, you would do the factory restore binary of all files excluding the big sample sets. I can prepare something like that. Would still be easier than downloading all single files and taking care, that the files are all at the correct place on the flash memory.

Is it possible to reload this factory set from the computer, or would I have to get the individual parts for that? Thanks.
Yours,
Niall.

Yes i've done that by downloading all of the files from http://www.spectralis.de/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=734 and sending it to the spectralis. If you like I can send you a zip file containing all of the files.

How long is the 'restore' process supposed to take ?
Speckie has been displaying strange numbers, and Now FilePos 4079616(and couting) ReadErr.
I have tried several times (then switched it off after 15 mn or so, and reloaded the factory.sfi file, to no avail

Hello electronicpoison.
I am using Spectralis 1, with OS 1.04 K ; I have tried to reflash the firmware, which did not change a thing.
